The Army Navy Business Group is seeking an experienced training program analyst to serve as an Undersea Warfare (USW) Subject Matter Expert (SME). In this role, you will provide critical policy and standards support to the Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces (USFF) in Norfolk, VA. This is a unique opportunity to directly impact the readiness of the U.S. Navy's undersea forces. The ideal candidate will be an experienced program analyst (at least eight years of experience) and USW SME in Fleet training plans, programs and processes. Echelon III (or higher) staff experience and a working knowledge or understanding of U.S. Navy fleet training policy and programs, the Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP), and the Fleet Response Training Plan (FRTP) are highly desired for this position. In addition, he/she will have excellent public speaking, presentation, and time management skills, as well as at least two years of applicable Program Analyst experience in U.S. Navy fleet operations, policy, systems, and staff procedures; Managing / prioritizing large, complex projects involving numerous stakeholders; Leading working groups and cross-functional teams; Leveraging best practices and handling multiple tasks and interruptions with minimal impact on productivity/deliverables; Engaging Senior Staff at the Flag Officer/Director/Manager level; and Conducting fleet readiness analysis/assessment to identify gaps, training needs and solutions.
