About The Position

Gordon Food Service is hiring a Fleet Technician to maintain its private, company-owned fleet of tractors, trailers, and refrigerated (reefer) units. The company operates 11 fleet shops across the United States and maintains more than 3,000 vehicles supporting daily deliveries to restaurants, healthcare operations, and schools. The role offers onboarding and ongoing training, hourly pay rather than flat-rate pay, lifts for safety, an organized parts room, and company-provided heavier specialty tools. Technicians bring their own basic tools and work as part of a skilled team focused on expertise and professional development. The position is located at 1500 N River Road, Lithia Springs, Georgia. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Pay is up to $31.60 per hour, based on experience and technician level, with a $1.50 per-hour incentive and a $1.00 per-hour shift differential for second- and third-shift employees. An annual tool allowance, boot allowance, and quarterly safety bonus are also offered.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid, unrestricted state-issued driver's license.
Must be able to communicate in English in writing, speaking, and reading.
Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Diesel tractor-trailer experience is preferred.
