About The Position

Gordon Food Service is hiring a Fleet/Diesel Technician to maintain its private, company-owned fleet of tractors and trailers, including reefer units. The fleet shops support daily deliveries to restaurants, healthcare operations, and schools. The position offers extensive onboarding and ongoing training, hourly pay rather than flat-rate pay, lifts for safety, an organized parts room, and heavier specialty tools; technicians provide their own basic tools. The role is based at 1500 N. River Road, Lithia Springs, Georgia, and is scheduled for second shift, four days per week.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted state-issued driver's license.
• Must be able to communicate in English in writing, speaking, and reading.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Diesel tractor-trailer experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service tractors and trailers, including reefer units, in Gordon Food Service's company-owned fleet.
