About The Position

SIXT is seeking a Regional Fleet Strategist to optimize strategies and drive fleet performance. This role involves analyzing, monitoring, and managing fleet operations across multiple regions. The Fleet Strategist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies, ensure optimal vehicle utilization, and streamline processes throughout the fleet lifecycle. The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging analytics to improve outcomes and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in fleet management, inventory control, or sales strategy.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL.
  • Familiarity with Python or other programming languages.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, draw insights, and make strategic, data-driven decisions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities while aligning objectives with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and optimize the 78-week fleet model for comprehensive lifecycle planning of all vehicles, from infleet to defleet.
  • Provide Purchasing teams with vehicle model/region targets to guide procurement strategies.
  • Evaluate purchase proposals to ensure alignment with contribution margins.
  • Approve fleet placements in collaboration with Revenue Management, optimizing regional distribution and factoring in lifecycle needs.
  • Track fleet utilization, Revenue per Day (RPD), residual value trends, and other fleet costs to refine strategies.
  • Leverage sales performance metrics to guide inventory adjustments and strategic placements.
  • Oversee the buyback process, ensuring seamless coordination and accurate execution of vehicle returns.
  • Develop and manage defleeting strategies, tracking vehicles through all stages of the sale process.
  • Adjust plans based on sales outcomes to maximize realized values and profitability.
  • Partner with Revenue Management and other departments to align fleet strategies with business objectives, ensuring data-driven solutions for optimization.
