About The Position

Truckway Leasing & Rental, an industry leader in tractor/trailer rental and leasing operations and a well-established regional provider of over-the-road equipment is in search of a Fleet Service Writer supporting our Service Manager in the daily operation of our Cincinnati OH service facility. Strong communication and time management skills are required.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Experience working in a shop environment.
• Strong Computer skills
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Strong listening skills relate to workload, time management, and setting priorities in an unsupervised environment.
• Effective problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily workload of a technician workforce to achieve optimum utilization of
• Organizing and closing purchase orders.
• Daily Lot Check - Check and log all trucks on the lot.
• Procure vendor invoices!
• Reviewing and closing work orders
• Tracking and receiving parts
• Stocking and re-stocking inventory items
• Reviewing and prioritizing driver write-ups for equipment requiring repair.
• Other projects and tasks assigned by the supervisor.
