About The Position

Chuck Nash Auto Group is seeking an experienced and dependable Fleet Service Automotive Technician to join our Fleet Service team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing customer fleet vehicles while providing efficient, high-quality workmanship to help keep our commercial customers on the road.

Requirements

  • Previous automotive technician experience required
  • Must have your own basic automotive tools
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to operate vehicles, lifts, diagnostic equipment, and other shop equipment safely
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

  • Fleet, commercial vehicle, or dealership service experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of automotive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair
  • Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Experience working with trucks and commercial fleet vehicles is a plus
  • ASE and manufacturer certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair customer fleet vehicles
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance services
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns using appropriate diagnostic equipment
  • Perform brake, suspension, steering, cooling system, drivetrain, and other general repairs
  • Complete oil changes, fluid services, filters, and scheduled maintenance
  • Perform vehicle inspections and identify needed repairs or safety concerns
  • Complete repairs accurately and efficiently according to manufacturer and dealership standards
  • Document all work performed and recommended repairs accurately on repair orders
  • Communicate vehicle repair needs and status with Fleet Service Advisors and management
  • Maintain productivity while ensuring quality workmanship
  • Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Properly care for customer vehicles, dealership equipment, and tools
  • Assist other technicians and Fleet Service team members as needed
