About The Position

To establish and maintain commercial fleet fuel accounts. This role involves managing fleet fuel accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, meeting sales goals, and monitoring competition. The position requires a strong understanding of sales, customer service, and inventory management within a facility setting. The Fleet Relationship Manager will also be responsible for completing special projects and performing additional tasks as assigned by the Fleet Director.

Requirements

Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to self-manage and manage schedule to achieve results.
Strong PC skills, including MS Office and Excel.
High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

Two to five years in a Sales or Sales support role preferred.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledgeable of store inventory.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain commercial fleet fuel accounts.
Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
Sell quality and service, provide follow-up on customer inquiries.
Meet monthly sales goals.
Maximize gallons purchased per fleet account by taking necessary action after review of applicable reports.
Monitor fleet fueling competition and advise Director of Fleet Services of activities and development.
Inform Director of Fleet Services of significant prospects or other developments which may have a noticeable impact on Gate Marketing Operations.
Participate in collection efforts with problem fleet accounts when requested.
Completes special projects as required.
Perform any additional tasks requested or assigned by Fleet Director.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization at the facility.
Manages inventory & daily aspects of the department and its staff to ensure projects are completed and goals and customer needs are met.
Attend all required training, safety courses, office and departmental meetings.
Report any safety hazards, follow up that hazard has been corrected, and assist with providing a safe work environment.
