About The Position

To establish and maintain commercial fleet fuel accounts. This role involves managing fleet fuel accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, meeting sales goals, and monitoring competition. The position requires a strong understanding of sales, customer service, and inventory management within a facility setting. The Fleet Relationship Manager will also be responsible for completing special projects and performing additional tasks as assigned by the Fleet Director.

Requirements

  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to self-manage and manage schedule to achieve results.
  • Strong PC skills, including MS Office and Excel.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

  • Two to five years in a Sales or Sales support role preferred.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledgeable of store inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain commercial fleet fuel accounts.
  • Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Sell quality and service, provide follow-up on customer inquiries.
  • Meet monthly sales goals.
  • Maximize gallons purchased per fleet account by taking necessary action after review of applicable reports.
  • Monitor fleet fueling competition and advise Director of Fleet Services of activities and development.
  • Inform Director of Fleet Services of significant prospects or other developments which may have a noticeable impact on Gate Marketing Operations.
  • Participate in collection efforts with problem fleet accounts when requested.
  • Completes special projects as required.
  • Perform any additional tasks requested or assigned by Fleet Director.
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization at the facility.
  • Manages inventory & daily aspects of the department and its staff to ensure projects are completed and goals and customer needs are met.
  • Attend all required training, safety courses, office and departmental meetings.
  • Report any safety hazards, follow up that hazard has been corrected, and assist with providing a safe work environment.
