The Fleet Outage Manager plans, coordinates, and executes major maintenance outages for assigned Heritage Project generating facilities. This position oversees the complete outage lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, contractor management, execution, documentation, and continuous improvement to maximize equipment reliability and plant availability while supporting safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. The scope of responsibility includes leading the planning and execution of planned and forced outages for combined-cycle units, dual-fuel turbines, subcritical boilers, and associated balance-of-plant systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective completion. This role involves developing integrated outage schedules, work packages, manpower plans, resource strategies, and critical path activities that support multiple facilities while minimizing generation impacts and outage duration. The Fleet Outage Manager coordinates outage activities among Plant Managers, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, contractors, vendors, OEM representatives, and project stakeholders throughout planning, execution, and closeout. They manage outage budgets, labor forecasts, contractor costs, procurement activities, and schedule performance while identifying opportunities to improve outage efficiency and reduce maintenance costs. Additionally, this role coordinates the procurement of materials, specialty tooling, rental equipment, scaffolding, cranes, and contractor services, ensuring required resources are available before outage execution. The Fleet Outage Manager leads outage planning meetings, readiness reviews, daily coordination meetings, and project update sessions, resolving issues, maintaining project schedules, and coordinating priorities across multiple generating facilities. They oversee contractor and vendor performance, ensuring compliance with project safety procedures, technical specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements. Ensuring outage activities comply with OSHA, applicable environmental regulations, project procedures, and all applicable safety and operational standards is also a key responsibility. This role supports Management of Change (MOC), equipment inspections, predictive maintenance recommendations, root cause analyses, corrective actions, and reliability initiatives that improve future outage performance across the Heritage Project. Monitoring outage performance through safety metrics, schedule adherence, equipment reliability, work quality, and cost performance, while providing regular status updates to project and plant leadership, is crucial. Maintaining accurate outage documentation, including work packages, schedules, technical reports, turnover packages, lessons learned, and final outage closeout records, is required. The position provides leadership, technical guidance, and effective communication throughout the outage lifecycle, promoting continuous improvement and operational excellence. Other duties as assigned in support of safe, reliable, and efficient project operations.
