About The Position

The Department of Public Safety is looking for someone to assist with logistical tasks related to the department fleet. This job will include inventorying, distributing, and physically loading/unloading department emergency vehicle equipment as part of the upfitting process. Job duties will also include the removal and disassembly of installed emergency equipment from retired patrol cars.

Requirements

  • Familiarity and usage of basic tools in an automotive application.
  • Repeated moderate to heavy lifting.
  • Must be self-motivated, trustworthy, dependable, and able to work well with others.
  • Must pass a comprehensive background investigation, which may include a polygraph.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in automotive mechanical and/or electrical systems.
