About The Position

Warning Lites is hiring an experienced Fleet Mechanic to support its traffic control operations across Minnesota. The role involves diagnosing issues, working independently, and performing quality repairs. Warning Lites provides traffic control and pavement marking services across Minnesota and is an operating company of Road Safety Services (RSS), a leading provider of pavement marking and traffic control services with operations across 23+ states and more than 50 locations.

Requirements

• Previous Fleet mechanic experience (diesel preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver's license (clean record)
• Ability to maintain a FEDMED card
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work overtime as needed
• Willing to work overtime when needed

Nice To Haves

• CDL preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel/gas trucks and equipment
• Work on electrical and hydraulic systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Complete DOT compliance checks
• Occasional welding/fabrication
• Mostly shop work, with some field service
