About The Position

This Hospitalist position with National Wound Physician Group offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility, with a strong emphasis on work-life balance. The role involves providing bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. Physicians receive comprehensive training, including physician-level wound management and a wound fellowship, from highly qualified trainers and Fellowship Directors. The position utilizes cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Physicians are W2 employees and can expect to earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. The practice is mobile, with physicians visiting 2-3 facilities per day within a 40-60 mile radius and treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
Perform clinical documentation at the point of care in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
