About The Position

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and necessary repairs to automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), trailers, vans, electric pallet jacks and forklifts. Disassembles and overhauls motors, transmissions, clutches, rear ends and electrical systems. Complete all necessary documents, including vehicle records. Manage ordering and inventory of parts. Will act as a mentor to the class I mechanics.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
  • Between 2 to 3 years of mechanic experience on a fleet
  • Must be able to work on all types of vehicles
  • Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Able to supply your own set of tools to perform the job.
  • Basic computer skills needed

Nice To Haves

  • CDL A preferred
