About The Position

Join our team as a Fleet Mechanic where you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles and equipment. We are seeking a skilled individual with expertise in automotive repair and maintenance. Duties: You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of our extensive inventory of machinery and tools. You'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment and our fleet vehicles, ensuring they're always in top condition for our customers' needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a mechanic with gas engines repair and diagnosis as well as light duty to HD vehicles (skid steers, tractors, mini excavators)
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Ability to perform repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively, minimizing equipment downtime
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on a diverse range of equipment, including large machinery and small tools
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, ranging from basic tune-ups to complex component replacements, to keep equipment in optimal working condition
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently, utilizing diagnostic tools and your expertise to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and rental regulations
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize workload and ensure timely completion of repairs, minimizing downtime for rented equipment
• Provide excellent customer service, offering guidance and assistance to customers regarding equipment operation and maintenance.
