About The Position

Clarke Vehicare is looking for experienced Diesel or Auto Technicians for a full-time opportunity. This role involves repairing and maintaining light & medium-duty customer vehicles in a dedicated shop. Experience with heavier Class 8-9 MHE (electric) will be helpful. Technicians will use smartphone, laptop, and tablet technology to record all repairs. Standard technician-owned tools are required, while major shop tools and diagnostic equipment are provided.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with medium-duty trucks
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills in engines, brakes, electrical, and suspension systems
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills for diagnostics and work order entry
• Must have own tools
• Valid Driver's License
• Current CDL or ability to acquire CDL (class B or higher)

Nice To Haves

• Some Heavier Class 8-9 MHE experience (electric) will be helpful
• Previous experience working with Peterbilt trucks
• Familiarity with BYD electric trucks is a plus but not required
• ASE certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
