STAR, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee and enhance our transportation services supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Requirements
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Experience managing vehicles, logistics, or transportation services
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance, scheduling, and DOT regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- A mission-driven mindset and a heart for helping others
Responsibilities
- Oversee a fleet of agency vehicles, ensuring they are maintained, inspected, and operating safely and efficiently
- Manage vehicle scheduling to support programs and daily routes
- Supervise and support a team of drivers and transportation staff
- Coordinate repairs, routine maintenance, registrations, and inspections
- Track and report on fleet usage, fuel efficiency, and vehicle performance
- Collaborate across departments to ensure timely and responsive transportation for individuals in our programs
