About The Position

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT), a 100% employee-owned consulting firm with more than 2,800 professionals, is hiring a Fleet Management Technician. The position provides hands-on fleet and operational support to keep field personnel productive and reduce lost billable time associated with vehicle maintenance, repairs, inspections, cleaning, breakdowns, deliveries, and related support activities. The technician coordinates and performs routine fleet activities, including arranging and transporting vehicles for service, monitoring preventive maintenance, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, relocating vehicles, addressing routine fleet issues, and keeping fleet documentation current. Fleet duties may account for only part of the workload. When fleet needs do not require full-time attention, the employee performs other operational, logistical, administrative, or project-support duties assigned by the local supervisor or project management, such as delivering supplies, materials, equipment, or documents to field crews and project locations. The position reports directly to the local supervisor for day-to-day management, scheduling, workload, and administrative oversight. The Fleet Manager provides functional leadership for fleet priorities, standards, procedures, and overall program direction. Appropriate project management personnel may also assign operational and project-support work based on workload and business needs. Immigration sponsorship or support is unavailable, except for qualified candidates eligible for TN visa classification. Compensation is $20.00–$28.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and relevant fleet, automotive, mechanical, logistical, or operational experience.
