About The Position

Livestock Nutrition Center is seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Technician to perform ongoing and preventative maintenance on its fleet. The technician works as a full-time mechanic and reports directly to the Location Manager. The role involves maintaining a fleet of 12–15 trucks and trailers and making service calls. A valid driver’s license is required; a CDL is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Diesel certificate and a minimum of 3 years of related experience and/or training.
• Mechanical repair and preventative maintenance skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Safety-minded.

Nice To Haves

• CDL; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Repair the fleet of 12–15 trucks and trailers.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Develop maintenance schedules and procedures for ongoing maintenance.
• Troubleshoot repair issues.
• Communicate and identify needs and plans for improvement.
• Maintain parts and tool inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Make service calls.
