Fleet Lot Tech
About The Position
Blackridge Fleet Center is seeking a Fleet Lot Technician who demonstrates respect, integrity, growth, humility, and teamwork. The role is suited to someone who is accountable, approachable, detail-oriented, analytical, and able to produce precise work, with a positive attitude and strong listening and communication skills. The technician arranges and maintains vehicles in the lot, inspects them and reports issues, drives them between locations or service areas, keeps them tidy and fueled, and records their locations and maintenance needs. The position involves spending most of the time outdoors and meeting the physical requirements of standing for 6–8 hours per day, with exposure to the elements and various workplace materials and conditions.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
- Valid in-state driver's license and a good driving record, per company standards.
- Positive attitude and high energy.
- Ability to read and comprehend job-related instructions and information, whether electronic or paper-based.
- Ability to stand 6–8 hours per day and work outdoors while exposed to the elements, noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong listening and communication skills.
- Highly precise and accountable; approachable, accommodating, and analytical, with a preference for detailed, skill-based work.
Responsibilities
- Arrange cars neatly in the lot for easy access.
- Inspect vehicles and report any issues.
- Drive cars between locations or service areas.
- Keep vehicles tidy and filled up for use.
- Record vehicle locations and any needed maintenance.
