Requirements

4+ years' in Operations and/or Planning and/or Customer Accounts in the transportation industry required.
Previous leadership experience required.
Must be able to lead, develop and coach others.
Must be able to effectively transfer knowledge to others.
Must be able to understand financial reports.
Must be able to effectively utilize available technologies (Micromap, Tableau, etc.)
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.

Responsibilities

Leader P/L for assigned fleet. Continuously develop and coach assigned Driver Leaders and provide support to Terminal Leader.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of Driver Leaders and their fleets.
Ensure all Drivers are fully utilized and Driver Leaders are collaborating with all appropriate departments (Planning, Shop, etc.) to maximize fleet production and driver satisfaction.
Handle escalated driver relations and compliance issues as needed.
Achieve safety objectives through continuous improvement of KPI's that impact terminal incident results.
Ensure Terminal is well maintained.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations and perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.
