About The Position

North Sky Communications LLC is seeking a Fleet Coordinator who will assist with administration of vehicle operation programs by collecting statistical and fiscal data on USDOT, IRP, IFTA, and UCR compliance. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of DOT regulations; proficient in the use of word processing and spreadsheet software with emphasis on Microsoft Office; ability to use a computer and other office related equipment; ability to read, understand, interpret, input, and analyze data.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in a related field or 2 years of related work experience.
  • Proficient in the use of office hardware and software. (PCs, Tablets, Printers, Copiers, Microsoft, Google, etc.)
  • Excellent Customer Service skills and strong English language skills both oral and written.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule, prioritize, and track preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and control costs.
  • Coordinate daily fleet assignments, annual inspections, and routine repair activities.
  • Assist with developing vehicle specifications, evaluating fleet conditions, and planning replacements.
  • Monitor fleet budgets, track inventory/fuel dispensing, and process purchasing requests.
  • Communicate with employees, contractors, and vendors to support department and project needs.
  • Provide reporting updates to leadership, maintaining operational records and identifying process improvements.
  • Read, interpret, and input fleet data to support assigned projects and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Ensure operations align with DOT regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
