This role is responsible for developing and overseeing preventive maintenance schedules to minimize Heavy Equipment downtime and extend asset life. The Fleet Clerk will maintain detailed maintenance logs, work orders, and historical repair records. This position also involves managing inventory of supplies, ordering parts, and tracking inventory levels. Utilizing software to track Heavy equipment maintenance data, analyze repair history, and report on maintenance needs is a key function. The Fleet Clerk will coordinate with service providers for quality repairs at competitive rates and assist the Service Supervisor or manager with scheduling, timekeeping, and processing invoices.
