About The Position

This is a temporary position where the Fleet Assistant will be responsible for various administrative duties within the shop. The role requires the ability to multitask and adapt to changing workloads and seasonal demands. The company, Wonderful Orchards, is the world's largest grower of almonds, pistachios, and pomegranates, and is part of The Wonderful Company, a global organization focused on harvesting health and happiness.

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED equivalent
  • 1 year of job related experience in general business
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Ten-key
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Bilingual English/ Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Enters/Updates Shop Employee's Information
  • Enters/Reviews Daily Mechanics Time cards
  • Enters/Reviews Maintenance and Repair Work Orders, including any charges related to these work orders
  • Schedules Equipment for PM service
  • Enter Oil Samples
  • Review and process Fleet Invoices
  • Performs Shop Administration duties such as Updating Shop Calendar, Scanning, Filing, Copying Documentation, answering shop telephone/radio, typing, etc.
  • Open PO for Services
  • Responds to inquiries from a variety of individuals (e.g. staff, managers, etc.) in a pleasant demeanor and attitude.
