About The Position

The Fleet Administrative Assistant I plays a key role in supporting our fleet team’s coordination and distribution of work. Organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary to help keep track of important details that support the Fleet Department. MYR Group Inc. Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of general administrative or technical/clerical experience is required
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to follow established procedures
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all assigned tasks are completed accurately and delivered with high quality in a timely manner
  • Handle various accounting and data entry tasks such as: Completing journal entries and reconciliations, Researching invoices and reviewing statements, Vendor setups, Credit Applications, Research refunds for coding
  • Review employee timesheets weekly and ensure accuracy
  • Cross-train and act as backup for fuel card administration process
  • Handle various tasks to assist in new vehicle recordkeeping
  • Assign asset numbers to new company vehicles and enter vehicle information into tracking system including preventative maintenance, location, VIN#, make and model
  • Process new vehicle title work and registration renewals
  • Operate office equipment such as copiers, scanners, laminator, phones and computers
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Understand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other industry-specific professional and ethical standards
