About The Position

Join Casey's Fleet Services team as an Accounting Specialist. The role supports fleet accounting by processing invoices and payables, assisting with vendor account and statement reconciliations, verifying purchase orders against invoices, and performing accounts receivable and collections activities. The position offers a starting hiring range of $19.25–$25.25; actual pay may vary based on knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience, education, qualifications, local prevailing wages, and internal equity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of accounting theory.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to maintain discipline when performing routine tasks.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices through data entry into payables systems, including verifying appropriate account segments and delegation of authority.
• Assist with vendor account and statement reconciliations as needed.
• Verify that purchase orders and invoices match.
• Perform accounts receivable functions, including invoice billing and recognition of income as needed.
• Collect outstanding balances from vendors as they age.
