About The Position

Sells new or used vehicles to commercial/fleet customers at a profit to the dealership, while ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves meeting dealership sales goals, engaging in business development, and addressing customer concerns. The position requires maintaining customer satisfaction at or above company standards, participating in required training, and accurately recording hours worked. The employee must also follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Requirements

GED or High School Diploma
Valid Driver’s License
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Intermediate ability to learn web applications for customer management
Ability to understand and follow instructions
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel
Regular and predictable attendance
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
Ability to deal with standardized situations
Prior sales and/or customer service experience desired

Responsibilities

Sells new or used vehicles to commercial or fleet customers at a profit
Meets dealership sales goals
Greets customer and determines make, type, and quality of vehicle desired
Explains features and demonstrates operation of vehicle in showroom or on road
Suggests optional equipment for customer to purchase
Computes and quotes sales price, including tax, trade-in allowance, and discount
Completes paperwork accompanying vehicle sales, including but not limited to, preparing sales slip or sales contract
Arranges for delivery and registration of vehicle
Researches availability of models and optional equipment
Engages in business development
Addresses customer concerns
Maintains CSI at or above Company standards
Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
Participates in required training
Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
Follows Safeguards rules and regulations
Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values
Complies with Company policies and procedures
Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties
