About The Position

The Flavor Tanks Operator is responsible for managing the flavor mixing and filling process in the manufacturing plant. This includes checking the daily schedule, hooking up mix tanks, sanitizing equipment, drawing and flavoring mix, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The role also involves general plant assistance and maintaining a clean work area.

Requirements

Ability to check schedule daily
Ability to hook mix tanks to appropriate down lines to flavor vats
Ability to sanitize lines, flavor vats, freezers, fillers with Matrixx
Ability to test to insure proper concentrations are being dispensed
Ability to add additional sanitizer or adjust dispenser if needed
Ability to draw mix to flavor vats, flavor and color mix
Ability to fill out daily paperwork
Ability to make coloring and citric acid as needed
Ability to keep inventories of flavorings and inclusions
Ability to report inventories to purchasing agent
Ability to take trash to dumpster and recyclables to appropriate areas
Ability to keep flavor vat area clean and organized
Ability to assist in plant as needed

Responsibilities

Check schedule daily to see what items will be ran
Hook mix tanks to appropriate down lines to flavor vats
Sanitize lines, flavor vats, freezers, fillers with Matrixx
Test to insure proper concentrations are being dispensed
Add additional sanitizer or adjust dispenser if needed
Draw mix to flavor vats, flavor and color mix
Fill out daily paperwork detailing mix and flavoring quantities, times, and lot numbers
Make coloring and citric acid as needed
Keep inventories of flavorings and inclusions
Report inventories to purchasing agent
Take trash to dumpster and recyclables to appropriate areas
Keep flavor vat area clean and organized
Assist in plant as needed
