Flatbed Driver CDL-A - Regional Southeast
About The Position
Summerford Truck Line is a family-owned flatbed company based in Ashford, Alabama, with over 98 years and four generations in the business. We've grown into a nationally recognized carrier, but we still run on small-company values: safety, respect, and doing things the right way. This position is for a Regional Class A CDL Flatbed Driver (Company W2) who will primarily haul flatbed freight, with a mix of 50% drop & hook and 50% live load-unload. Drivers can expect to drive approximately 2,500-3,000 miles per week and are guaranteed to be home every weekend. The primary lanes are within the Southeast and surrounding regional markets.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 24 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
- Generally clean MVR: no more than two moving violations in the last three years.
- Willingness to handle tarping.

Responsibilities
- Haul flatbed freight.
- Perform 50% drop & hook and 50% live load-unload.
- Handle tarping, which is more frequent in winter than in summer.
