Your impact as a Recruitment Coordinator is vital. Support Vitalant's life saving mission by actively engaging with our donors to schedule their next blood donation. Serving as a front-line hero, you play a pivotal role in achieving recruitment goals and coordinating donations at fixed site locations for present, past, and new donors making their next crucial blood contributions. Vitalant is one of the nation's largest nonprofit blood and biotherapies healthcare organizations, providing hospitals and patients across the U.S. a safe blood supply, specialized laboratory services, transfusion medicine expertise and world-renowned research. Vitalant provides blood and special services to patients in more than 900 hospitals across the U.S. and hosts approximately 60,000 blood drives annually.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Six months experience in customer service
Nice To Haves
- Two years of customer service experience preferred
- Proficient computer skills
Responsibilities
- Enhance the donor experience by providing excellent customer service.
- Collaborate on specialized calling projects, to include conversions, reminders calls and engaging first time donors.
- Support blood centers by implementing innovative recruitment strategies, managing donor scheduling, and offering expertise on eligibility and donation requirements.
- Contribute to the onboarding of new hires and conduct refresher training to both new and existing staff.
