About The Position

As an Accounting Specialist, you will perform complex accounting responsibilities for the accounting department. You will report to the Accounting Manager. This role involves performing multiple analytics and review functions to ensure accounting accuracy, assisting with the monthly closing process, recording general ledger entries, and compiling reconciliations. Additionally, you will conduct specialized research projects, reporting, and respond to inquiries, as well as process payables and receivables.

Requirements

• Associates degree in Accounting or Finance or 2 years related experience.
• Apply basic math (arithmetic, ratios, proportions or conversions).
• Use Ten Key (by touch).
• Understanding of accounting principles.
• Prior experience using of Microsoft Word and Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets).
• Two years' directly related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform multiple analytics and review functions to ensure accounting accuracy.
• Help with monthly closing process.
