About The Position

As an Accounting Specialist, you will perform complex accounting responsibilities for the accounting department. You will report to the Accounting Manager.

Requirements

• Associates degree in Accounting or Finance or 2 years related experience.
• Apply basic math (arithmetic, ratios, proportions or conversions)
• Use Ten Key (by touch)
• Understanding of accounting principles
• Prior experience using of Microsoft Word and Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
• Two years' directly related experience

Responsibilities

• Perform multiple analytics and review functions to ensure accounting accuracy.
• Help with monthly closing process.
• Record general ledger entries.
• Compile reconciliations.
• Conduct specialized research projects, reporting, and respond to inquiries.
• Process payables and receivables.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
