Supervisors at ADM have proven ability to think and work independently, while supervising other individuals and processes. They possess the ability to identify problems or opportunities for improvement and regularly propose solutions to problems. Supervisors are expected to independently manage projects of increasing complexity and have a strong understanding of accounting systems and processes. They must demonstrate a high level of self-confidence in dealing with management at various levels and various administrative, commercial, and operations areas, as applicable. They should be considered an expert in assigned areas and have demonstrated ability to see projects through to completion, while training and guiding others. The Fixed Assets and Project Accounting team is responsible for ensuring accurate reporting of capital projects and fixed asset transactions. We do this through monthly close activities such as calculating and recording journal entries, analyzing changes in property, plant, and equipment balances, analyzing changes in capital expenditures, completing and reviewing balance reconciliations, assisting with relevant property footnotes and cash flow information, as well as interacting with multiple levels of business unit commercial and plant management.
