About The Position
We are hiring experienced Fitter/Welders to support fabrication and pipe welding operations. This role requires strong fitting skills, pipe welding experience, and the ability to safely operate material-handling equipment in a production environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Fitter/Welder required
- Pinwheel and pipe fitting/welding experience required
- Forklift and overhead crane experience required
- Strong MIG welding skills
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and safety mindset
- Weld Test 1G-R weld test 4 rollout MIG root Flux fill and cap
Responsibilities
- Fit and weld pipe and fabricated components according to drawings and specifications
- Perform MIG welding with flux fill and cap
- Accurately measure, fit, tack, and assemble components prior to welding
- Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and shop instructions
- Perform pinwheel and pipe fitting/welding operations
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely
- Inspect welds and correct defects as needed
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
