About The Position
The City of Woodstock’s Recreation Department is recruiting a part-time Fitness Supervisor to manage fitness instructors, trainers, and classes. The role assists with recruiting, hiring, interviewing, and training instructors, and creates a fitness schedule that best serves Recreation Department members. This is a part-time, non-exempt/hourly position, working no more than an average of 28 hours per week, with a starting rate of pay of $21.58 per hour. CPR, First Aid, and AED certification must be obtained within six months of working at the Woodstock Recreation Department.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- At least three years of previous fitness experience.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Experience in fitness training.
- Experience as a fitness instructor.
- Experience in staff management.
- Obtain CPR, First Aid, and AED certification within six months of starting work.
Nice To Haves
- Personal trainer certification.
- Group fitness certification.
