About The Position

The City of Woodstock is recruiting a part-time Fitness Supervisor for the Woodstock Recreation Department. The position manages fitness instructors, trainers, and classes; assists with recruiting, hiring, interviewing, and training instructors; and creates a fitness schedule that best benefits Recreation Department members. This is a part-time, non-exempt hourly position working no more than an average of 28 hours per week. The starting rate of pay is $21.58 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least three years of previous fitness experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Experience in fitness training.
• Experience as a fitness instructor.
• Experience in staff management.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification within six months of working at the Woodstock Recreation Department.

Nice To Haves

• Personal trainer certification.
• Group fitness certification.
