About The Position

Want to work with like minded individuals with a passion for fitness and helping others? If so, we have an amazing opportunity for a Fitness Specialist to join our team! We have a great facility that is equipped from selectorized machines, Dumbbells ranging from 5-100lbs., squat rack, preloaded barbells and smith machine. In our fitness studio we have the ability to teach most classes we want and pride ourselves on doing so.

Requirements

• B.S. In Exercise Science or related field
• CPR and AED required
• Excellent communication skills
• Google Suite
• Canva

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in personal training and teaching group exercise preferred

Responsibilities

• Participate in all daily fitness center operations to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide safe, motivating, and effective exercise instruction with excellent customer service skills.
• Assist with day to day operations of the fitness center.
• Conduct membership sales and enrollment.
• Assist members with registration and check-in.
• Group exercise class instruction (virtual/in-person).
• Conduct Fitness Assessments, Fitness Center Orientations, Exercise Prescriptions.
• Personal Training (virtual/in-person).
• Health Education and Promotion (virtual/in-person).
• Incentive Programming (virtual/in-person).
• Wellness Initiatives (bulletin boards, newsletters, lunch n learns) (virtual/in-person).
• Assist in developing monthly newsletter and group exercise schedule.
• Assist in center marketing.
• Floor supervision.
• Equipment maintenance and cleaning.
• Equipment orientations.
• Provide member tours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Fitness workouts.
• Emergency protocols.
• Assist in planning and implementing center events (virtual/in-person).
