About The Position

Reimagine Resources is seeking a reliable, skilled fitness equipment installer and service professional to work independently with limited training in a structured, professional environment. The role involves repairing, troubleshooting, moving, assembling, and installing fitness equipment at commercial and residential job sites. The technician ensures equipment is safe, clean, and fully functional before completing work, manages service calls and diagnostics independently, provides professional customer service, and accurately records service work, job details, and equipment-related needs. This is a hands-on, field-based role for someone with relevant technical experience, self-sufficiency, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic. The schedule requires at least 20 hours per week and availability for at least one full weekday during business hours. Some Saturday work and full days out of town may be required; approximately 5%–20% of work may be out of town. The role starts at $20 per hour, with advertised compensation of $20–$30 per hour. All hires begin as contractors for the first three months and first 200 hours before being considered for employment. After proven performance, opportunities may include increased pay and responsibility, advancement to Associate, Staff, Senior, or Lead Installer/Technician roles, instructor or field-training duties, and commissions tied to qualified service or equipment-related support. Mileage reimbursement, paid training after orientation, and team events may be available depending on role structure and employment status.

Requirements

At least 2 years of installation, repair, maintenance, or fitness equipment service experience is preferred.
Able to work independently when starting, with minimal supervision.
Reliable transportation; a truck, SUV, or van is preferred.
High school diploma or GED.
Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
Ability to lift 150 pounds and safely move heavy equipment using proper technique and support when needed.
Must pass a background check and drug test; CBD and marijuana are prohibited.
Must be available for at least 20 hours per week and at least one full weekday during business hours.
Must be physically capable of safely lifting, moving, and assembling commercial fitness equipment.
Must be comfortable with a structured, professional team culture and demonstrate professionalism, quality work, communication, customer service, and reliability.
Must work in a smoke- and vape-free workplace.

Nice To Haves

Experience with fitness equipment installation, repair, electrical work, mechanical work, assembly, or a related field.
Truck or van.
Availability for some Saturday work and full days out of town as needed.
