About The Position

Nex is hiring a Fitness Content Creator & Instructor to create motion-tracked fitness experiences for Nex Playground, including BoxFlow and NexGym. The role begins with choreographing boxing workouts to music, writing and recording voiceovers, and playtesting and refining workouts with the team. The successful candidate will also develop fitness challenges and programs, support the fitness community, and collaborate with designers and engineers on new living-room workout interactions. The position is a 3-month, part-time contract at $35 per hour for 20 hours per week. The contract runs through the end of 2026 and is intended to convert to full-time based on fit and impact. The role reports to the Lead Game Designer.

Requirements

• Group fitness teaching experience.
• Fitness certification, such as NASM, ACE, or ACSM.
• Solid boxing fundamentals and an understanding of fun, safe combinations.
• Strong sense of rhythm and ability to map punches to music.
• Clear, energetic script writing and confident delivery on microphone and camera.

Nice To Haves

• Boxing or kickboxing coaching experience.
• Experience creating fitness content for apps, streaming, or social media.
• An existing fitness community or social presence.

Responsibilities

• Choreograph BoxFlow workouts to music using Jabs, Crosses, Hooks, Slips, Squats, and Blocks, paced for beginner and intermediate players.
• Write and record voiceover scripts that cue combinations, coach form, and motivate participants; appear on camera as needed.
• Design and lead fitness challenges and programs across BoxFlow and NexGym to help parents get started and stay consistent.
• Engage with the fitness community as a coaching voice and bring feedback back to the team.
• Partner with designers and engineers on new workout interactions for the living room.
• Playtest and tune workouts with the team.
• Design and pitch an initial fitness challenge or program using available tracking.
