Fitness Coach / Personal Trainer / Group Fitness Coach
About The Position
Orangetheory is hiring Fitness Coaches to lead coach-inspired, science-backed, technology-tracked, one-hour full-body group workouts. Coaches motivate and welcome members, help them participate safely and effectively, and create a positive experience that encourages members to return. The role includes guiding members through predefined workouts, helping them set and achieve goals, correcting exercise form, understanding heart-rate-focused training, and demonstrating the equipment used in classes. Specific duties and selection requirements vary by studio location; additional details may be provided by the studio’s hiring manager during the interview process. Compensation is $17.00–$90.00 per hour. The position is with an independently owned and operated Orangetheory Fitness franchisee, which is responsible for employment matters at its studio.
Requirements
- Be AED/CPR certified.
- Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate members through predefined workouts.
- Help members set and achieve goals.
- Ensure members use correct form and provide corrections when needed.
- Understand the science behind Orangetheory workouts and heart-rate-focused training programs, and stay aware of what competitors are doing.
- Know how to use and demonstrate every piece of equipment used in workouts.
- Be a team player.
