Fitness Coach / Personal Trainer / Group Fitness Coach
About The Position
Orangetheory Fitness is hiring Fitness Coaches to lead its coach-inspired, science-backed, technology-tracked one-hour full-body group workouts. The role is for a committed fitness professional who can motivate members, help them work toward their goals, and balance encouragement with attention to safe and effective exercise. Coaches are expected to create a welcoming atmosphere and bring positive energy to members’ studio experience. Specific job duties and selection requirements may vary by Orangetheory studio location. Additional details may be provided by the studio’s hiring manager if a candidate advances in the interview process.
Requirements
- Be AED/CPR certified.
- Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate members through pre-defined workouts.
- Help members set and achieve goals.
- Ensure members use correct form and offer corrections when needed.
- Understand the science behind Orangetheory workouts and heart-rate-focused training programs, and stay aware of competitors.
- Know how to use and demonstrate every piece of equipment used in workouts.
- Be a team player.
