About The Position

Be a part of Willoughby Golf Club! We are one of the premier private golf clubs located in coastal Stuart, Florida. Our beautiful Club is looking for a Part-Time Seasonal Fitness Center Attendant. If you are an energetic and enthusiastic individual, who has experience in Fitness & Wellness, maybe even worked at a private club before, and loves fitness, this is the Club for you!

Requirements

• Develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
• Ability to clean and maintain the fitness center to required cleanliness standards.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Knowledge of fitness equipment.
• High School Graduate or GED equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Fitness & Wellness
• Experience working at a private club
• CPR, AED and First Aid certification preferred or will obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Greets members; has them sign in; answers telephones and schedule personal training sessions.
• Keeps conditioning room neat and clean.
• Monitors attendance and bills members.
• Sets-up and monitors exercise equipment.
• Promotes private lessons and massage services, personal training, & nutrition.
• Assists with special events in other club departments when necessary.
• Completes other appropriate assignments made by Director of Wellness.
