About The Position

The Fitness Attendant is responsible for general supervision of the fitness center, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests while delivering outstanding customer service. The role is based at San Francisco - 555 Market, is non-exempt, and reports to the Fitness Director.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and clean fitness equipment and facility areas.
• Greet guests, explain programs and activities, and provide guidance on equipment usage.
• Promptly and professionally report and resolve guest complaints.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and tactfully ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
• Monitor the safety and cleanliness of the front desk and surrounding areas.
• Attend required meetings and trainings.
• Maintain punctuality and adhere to scheduled work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Meet regularly with the supervisor to review duties and performance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
