About The Position

Alaska Airlines is seeking a student intern to support its Fit Center. The intern will conduct uniform fittings, respond to uniform-related questions and concerns, maintain working knowledge of uniform policies for Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air, and provide input on improvements to team policies and procedures. The role offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to contribute to projects supporting the business, community, and cultural growth in a collaborative, innovation-focused environment. This is a full-time, 12-week internship for summer 2027, based in Renton, Washington. Candidates who are not already in the internship city must relocate for the internship. The internship is designed to provide skill development and work experience and does not guarantee future employment. Interns receive standby travel benefits during the internship.

Requirements

Be working toward a bachelor's degree focused in fashion or a related area.
Have at least one year of customer service experience.
Be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail.
Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.
Have achieved junior or higher academic standing at the time of application.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years old.
Be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Conduct uniform fittings to ensure proper fit, appearance, and compliance with established uniform policies and guidelines.
Respond to emails and phone inquiries about uniform-related questions and concerns, and assist with resolving uniform issues.
Maintain strong working knowledge of relevant Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air uniform program policies, providing accurate information and guidance to uniformed employees.
Provide input on opportunities to improve team policies and procedures.
