About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer service activities, including promptly and warmly greeting customers, handling merchandise with care, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a world-class customer service commitment and helps create a pleasant, productive shopping experience. Associates demonstrate products, maintain product knowledge through ongoing training, replenish and restock merchandise, maintain pricing and signage, assist with seasonal floor moves, and keep their work areas clean and supplied.

The associate helps customers make purchasing decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs and recommending products. The role also promotes programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up. Duties are performed under general supervision, using established procedures and occasional independent judgment.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.

• Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Identify and evaluate customers' needs and make product recommendations.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
