About The Position

C2C works with a fleet of top fishing vessels and fishers throughout the Pacific Ocean to bring you the best sourced, wild Albacore Tuna as well as a vast selection of premium wild seafood species, including Wild B.C. Salmon, shellfish, and much much more.

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Fish Processor will be accountable for the processing and production of Seafood products at C2C Premium Seafoods.

Requirements

• Experience with the utilization of fillet knives, food processing equipment, and food safety.
• Willingness to work with raw meat products.
• Willingness to work in a cold environment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks requiring lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing 30+ lbs. safely and effectively.
• Physical fitness and stamina to sustain prolonged periods of activity, repetitive movements, and manual labor.
• Training will be provided.
• Commitment to safety standards and practices.
• Candidates must be legally able to work in Canada at this time.
• final candidates for this position may be required to undergo a confidential pre-employment background check which may include but not be limited to criminal, and/or credit testing.

• Previous work experience is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Packaging fresh and frozen seafood.
• Cutting and processing seafood as required.
• Quality control & assurance for all products coming from the seafood room, fresh & frozen.
• Champion and enforce the Code of Conduct and CFS policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to CFS Health and Safety Programs and initiatives.
• Ensure that standards for sanitation and food safety are met or exceeded.
• Additional duties as assigned.
