About The Position

Kura Sushi is hiring Fish Cutters for its upcoming Gainesville, Florida location, scheduled to open in November. Fish Cutters prepare and portion fish accurately, help provide fresh and high-quality food, and learn to prepare sushi according to Kura standards. The role pays $17.00 per hour and is eligible for tips. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of fish-cutting techniques.
• Committed to preparing and providing fresh, tasty, quality food.
• Knowledgeable about food safety standards and restaurant cleanliness.
• Eager and enthusiastic about learning and preparing sushi by Kura standards.

Nice To Haves

• Previous sushi chef experience.
• Previous sushi rolling experience.
• Previous fish-cutting experience.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred.
