About The Position

ITTConnect is seeking a Fiserv Configuration Specialist with payments expertise for a direct-hire, full-time position with a client in Miami. This hands-on configuration role is responsible for the bank’s money-movement layer in Fiserv Finxact, including Fedwire, SWIFT, ACH, RTP and FedNow, as well as the screening, limits, returns and posting logic around those rails. The specialist ensures payment rails are correctly parameterized, processed straight-through wherever possible, reconciled daily and aligned with U.S. compliance requirements, and takes the domain through network certification into production. This role has the squad’s highest compliance exposure: configuration errors can create regulatory and financial risk, and rail certification is on the critical path to launch. The specialist works closely with Compliance, Payment Operations and the integration team, and owns controls evidence supporting audit and examiner review.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience.
  • Experience with a Fiserv platform; Finxact is preferred.
  • 5+ years in payments within banking, including hands-on configuration in the Fiserv ecosystem, such as Finxact, Enterprise Payments Platform (formerly Dovetail), PEP+/ACHNext, NOW Gateway, or payment modules on DNA, Signature, Premier or Precision.
  • Deep, current knowledge of U.S. payment rails—Fedwire, ACH/Nacha, RTP and FedNow—including settlement, finality, cut-offs and returns/exception handling.
  • Practical OFAC and sanctions-screening design experience, including screening placement in the flow, hold-release logic and false-positive management without disrupting straight-through processing.
  • Experience configuring straight-through processing, settlement posting and daily payment reconciliation.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 20022 message structures and REST/JSON API-based platforms.
  • Experience in a regulated, audit-driven environment with formal change management and segregation of duties.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on Finxact experience, Finxact Academy badges or Fiserv product certification.
  • Experience with the Fiserv payments ecosystem, including Enterprise Payments Platform (formerly Dovetail), PEP+/ACHNext and NOW Gateway (RTP and FedNow).
  • Exposure to AML transaction-monitoring and sanctions-screening integrations.
  • SWIFT/correspondent banking and nostro reconciliation background.

Responsibilities

  • Configure payment products and rails in Finxact, including Fedwire, SWIFT, ACH/Nacha (including Same Day ACH), RTP and FedNow, with message mapping and ISO 20022 alignment.
  • Parameterize OFAC and sanctions screening placement, hold-release behavior, false-positive handling and handoff to AML transaction monitoring.
  • Configure transaction and daily limits, cut-off windows, calendars, dual authorization, and exception and return handling, including R-codes, recalls and investigations.
  • Design and configure straight-through-processing flows, settlement posting, nostro and suspense account behavior, and daily reconciliation rules.
  • Work with Integration Engineers on network, processor, AML and digital-channel connectivity via MuleSoft/AWS API Gateway, defining contracts, error handling and idempotency expectations.
  • Support UAT, network and rail certification testing, and go-live cutover, maintaining traceable evidence for regulators.
  • Define payment operations runbooks, exception queues and the day-one support model with Application Support.
  • Maintain configuration documentation and controls evidence for internal audit, external audit and examiners.
