Requirements

  • One year as a Fiscal Assistant; or Three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school; or One year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an associate degree in accounting or business administration; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Able to perform essential job functions.
  • Pass a background investigation.

Responsibilities

  • Review financial records and documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to procedures
  • Post data to general ledger accounts using information from subsidiary reports
  • Prepare and reconcile incoming revenue, including cash, checks, and donations
  • Maintain agency payroll by posting changes, reviewing system output, and preparing required reports
  • Maintain filing systems and process fiscal documents for federal, state, and county reporting
  • Use agency software and databases to complete forms, documents, and reports
