About The Position

Abode, one of the largest and effective nonprofits working to end homelessness in the Bay Area, is seeking a Fiscal Contract Analyst for our programs in Alameda County. Abode Services is seeking a skilled Fiscal Contract Analyst to provide organizational support of program billing/reimbursement to various funders who financially support Abode Services’ mission to provide housing and services to low-income and un-housed individuals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Experience with general ledger account analysis and research
  • Excellent computer skills including modeling in Excel, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat Pro and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive fiscal contract management including the tracking of contract renewal dates, submission of performance report data, preparing ad hoc analyses to support program decision making and ensure overall financial compliance with government and other funder agencies.
  • Prepare invoices for various funders; this includes conducting research and validation of program spending and purchase orders (POs), performing various calculations, and compiling all supporting documentation.
  • Assist assigned Fiscal Contract Supervisor/Sr. Fiscal Contract Analyst with the development and review of program and contract budgets, financial reporting data such as profit and loss statements, trended analysis or tracking of Key Performance Indicators, and notifying the Team Analyst and Program Team of any significant changes.
  • Navigate within the payroll, accounting, and other internal systems to extract necessary data for supportive documentation.
  • Review contracts and service agreements to understand billing requirements and deliverables.
  • Other special projects and tasks as assigned.
