About The Position

At Vance Thompson Vision, we are global leaders in vision correction, driven by our commitment to groundbreaking research, innovative technology, and exceptional patient care. We are growing and looking for a First Impressions – Atrium Concierge to join our team! You will greet and register patients, communicate with internal departments regarding patient needs, handle escalated patient concerns, participate in the patient-informed consent process, ensure the atrium area is clean and visually appealing, and collect and enter patient insurance information and payments. You will exceed patient expectations through active listening, effective communication, and empathy.

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent
Previous customer service experience helpful

Responsibilities

Greeting and registering patients in a prompt, pleasant, and helpful manner.
Communicating with internal departments regarding patient needs.
Handling difficult or escalated patient concerns and providing positive solutions.
Participating in the patient-informed consent process.
Ensuring the atrium area is clean and visually appealing to patients, and that food items are fully stocked and available at all times.
Collecting and entering patient’s insurance information into the database.
Verifying patient insurance information and demographics.
Collecting payments for drops, surgeries and/or account balances.
Exceeding our patient’s expectations through active listening, effective communication, and empathy.
