About The Position

The FEP Team Lead is responsible for working with an interdisciplinary team, providing clinical and administrative supervision to the team members and services provided. This position requires experience working with persons who have severe and persistent mental illness, understanding of the importance of delivering service as a team and in accordance with program standards for FEP services, ensuring data collection requirements, effective communication skills, demonstrate excellent clinical judgment, adhere to a recovery philosophy of care, and possess excellent leadership skills and management abilities. The position will also complete screening, intake, and ensure clinical needs of clients are being met.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field, from an accredited college or university.
  • Three to five years of clinical practice experience preferred.
  • Prefer 2 or more years of supervisory and management experience.
  • Must be Licensed or Certified in Area of Practice: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Psychological Associate, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Practicing Psychologist, Registered Nurse and/or licensed or certified in a related human services field.

Responsibilities

  • Provides clinical treatment to consumers receiving FEP services and complete documentation as needed within required timeframe.
  • Participates in comprehensive clinical assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and on-call coverage.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for meetings and huddles.
  • Works on interdisciplinary team, provides both administrative and clinical supervision, in conjunction with the team psychiatrist, to team members.
  • Maintains supervisory notes on team members.
  • Develops and monitors scheduled visits for consumers to ensure services are delivered meeting FEP standard of care.
  • Assures all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
  • Implements program evaluation to ensure team operates in accordance with FEP standards.
  • Ensure data is gathered accurately for reporting requirements.
  • Ensures strict compliance with all professional standards, Medicaid and Medicare regulations, agency policies and procedures.
  • Ensures team members have the appropriate training to maintain fidelity to FEP standard of care.
  • Evaluate the ongoing quality of services provided, as well as the individual performance of team members.
  • Facilitates interviews and hiring of team members, ensures quality onboarding of new hires, completes performance evaluations timely, addresses performance issues professionally and timely and in accordance with policy and procedure.
  • Monitors expenses and ensures that expenditures are within proposed budget program.
  • Provide input on budget needs.
  • Represent Daymark and FEP program in community meetings, serve on committees, councils and various other meetings as needed.
  • Other duties assigned by supervisor
  • Accountable for ensuring team as a whole meets billing standards per number of persons being served per the FEP standards and needs of the persons served.
